The following terms and conditions apply to services and service packages booked for groups through Vuokatti Safaris Ltd
1 BOOKING DETAILS
The booking details, including schedule, list of participants, programs, and catering (with special dietary requirements), must be confirmed:
- no later than 15 days before the event for groups of fewer than 30 participants, and
- no later than 30 days before the event for groups of 30 participants or more.
2 CANCELLATION
2.1 Free cancellation
Free cancellation is possible no later than:
- 90 days before the event for groups of 90 participants or more
- 60 days before the event for groups of 30–89 participants
- 30 days before the event for groups of 7–29 participants
- 15 days before the event for groups of 6 participants or fewer (**)
2.2 Cancellations made after the free cancellation deadline (Please note: also applies to partial cancellations):
Charges will apply as follows, calculated on the value of the cancelled services:
Groups of 90 participants or more
• 60–89 days before the event: 25%
• 30–59 days before the event: 50%
• 15–29 days before the event: 75% (**)
• Less than 15 days before the event: 100%
Groups of 30–89 participants
• 30–59 days before the event: 50%
• 15–29 days before the event: 75% (**)
• Less than 15 days before the event: 100%
Groups of 7–29 participants
• 15–29 days before the event: 50% (**)
• 8–14 days before the event: 75%
• Less than 8 days before the event: 100%
Groups of fewer than 7 participants
• 8–14 days before the event: 50%
• Less than 8 days before the event: 100%
(**) For accommodation reservations, free cancellation must be made no later than 42 days before the start of the reservation.
2.3 Services subject to charge
Charges will apply to the services that have been confirmed in advance and subsequently cancelled.
3 PAYMENT TERMS
Unless otherwise agreed, all bookings are invoiced in advance. A deposit of 20% of the estimated total amount will be invoiced, due 7 days after the booking date. The remaining balance will be invoiced as follows:
- Accommodation services: due 42 days before the start of the reservation
- Catering and activity services: due 7 days after the booking date
invoices will be sent as e-invoices or by e-mail.
